AIA Chapter Meeting on Net Zero Design
We were thrilled to present our work on net-zero design to the local AIA chapter in July, 2017. We covered the Net Zero Nest project as a case study in net-zero home design, plus advanced topics such as the Duck Curve, TDV energy calculations for Title 24 compliance, and battery storage. Then the 50 architects packed into our living room asked some great questions. What a great group and worthwhile evening!

BSG Invited to Present at CEC's WISE conference
Nick was pleased to present in May, 2017 at the WISE Forums in Downey and San Diego on high-performance walls and attics. His presentation covered continuous insulation wall assemblies and stucco, including one-coat stucco, three-coat over foam, and EIFS. We dug into the proposed 2019 residential wall U-factors that will encourage use of 1-1/2" foam in continuous insulation assemblies, and what that will mean for the industry.
